The official launching of the B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation for Great Britain and Ireland took place at a dinner in London attended by 500 notables of British academic and religious and community life, according to information received today by B’nai Breath headquarters here.
The B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation in England, like its counterpart at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and the 206 B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundations and Counselorships in the United States and Canada, helps college and university students to maintain their links with the Jewish community and to foster in them a love of Judaism and enlightened citizenship.
