The parents of the Jewish police constable Hinkis, sentenced to death in Jaffa for the murder of an Arab family of five, have received his reassuring message. The local press reproduces his message. Mr. and Mrs. Hinkis have wired their son to have courage and not to despair, “as the entire Jewish world is convinced” of his innocence and that “for the Lord’s glory the truth is bound to come out.”
