Hirschberg, Pioneer in Florida Tobacco Industry, Dies at 72

Julius Hirschberg, 72, prominent Jacksonville realtor and Florida chairman of the American Jewish Relief Committee, died here yesterday of heart disease. Mr. Hirschberg, who had formerly been a cigar manufacturer in Philadelphia, was instrumental in the development of tobacco-growing in West Florida when he started in business a generation ago.
