The ruling Council of Histadrut has voted that all non-Jews who are employed in Israel are, hereafter, eligible for full membership in the Israeli trade unions. The Council decided, however, that the old official name of Histadrut should not be changed. The official title is “Organization of Hebrew Laborers in Israel.”
