The Histadrut and the Manufacturers Association for Metal Industries today signed an agreement providing for the employment of 12,000 workers. The two-year pact stipulates minimum wages, includes a provision for arbitration and, in the event of strikes or lockouts, would hold both sides responsible. Joint production boards will be sot up to increase production in the industry.
