Dr. Sol Stein, who was this weekend elected president of the Israel Histadrut Foundation, announced today that the Foundation has accumulated $24 million in bequests and gift annuities since the organization was founded in 1960. This sum includes $2.5 million received during the five months of the fiscal year that began last Oct. 1. Dr. Stein succeeds William H. Sylk of Philadelphia as the Foundation’s president.
