It disclosed definitely that despite all talk of the dove hovering over Germany’s warring factions in the composition of Hitler’s support, the crisis has yet to be resolved and Hitler still has to make the choice of disavowing his radical Nazi comrades of the past ten years or align himself definitely with them against the rapidly strengthening conservative element represented by von Papen, the great industrialists, the Reichswehr and the Stahlhelm.
