The Hitlerist veto against the naturalisation of Jews by the Prussian Government, of which Dr. Frick, the Hitlerist Minister of the Interior and Education in Thuringia, boasted publicly a few days ago, was overruled to-day by the Federal Council (Reichsrat), which despite a good deal of canvassing by the representatives of the two State controlled by the Hitlerists, Thuringia and Brunswick, to induce other States to join them in an anti-Prussian move, gave its approval to a solid block of 120 applications for naturalisation by alien Jews. There are altogether 400 applications at issue, of which the 120 applications granted are the first batch. The 120 new citizens include Daniel Prenn, a Polish Jew, who is the German tennis champion.

Ministerial Directors Dr. Hermann Badt and Dr. Brecht, who put Prussia’s case for the naturalisations at the Federal Council meeting, said that Thuringia’s veto is based on the absurd exploded Nordic race theory taught by Professor Guenther, the Hitlerist Professor of Raceology appointed by Dr. Frick recently to Jena University, and according to this theory, they pointed out two-thirds of the German people are not Germans.
