A gang of Hitlerite hoodlums yesterday broke up a performance of Shadows Over Harlem, a play by Ossip Dymow, American-Jewish playwright. When the curtain was dropped the Hitlerites terrorized the audience which fled in panic to nearby cafes. The play was being shown with an all-Negro cast. Dymow is well-known in the United States, having been director of the Schildkraut Theatre and author of a number of Broadway productions, among them Bronx Express.
