The National Council of Jewish Women announced today that for the second successive season the group was sponsoring a Council kitchen to aid and provide employment for needy women.
The kitchen is a non-profit project that last year provided 1,636 hours of work for unemployed women. Jams and preserves are prepared for sale. The project is proving popular and constructive, according to the report.
