Plans for the annual minute luncheon of the Long Island South Shore group of the women’s division of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies will be discussed at a tea next Wednesday afternoon. The tea, to be held at the home of Mrs. Leon Lauterstein of Woodmere, L. I., is sponsored by the four cochairmen of the South Shore group, Mrs. Edwin Sommerich, Mrs. E. Louis Jacobs, Mrs. Adolph Elsas and Mrs. Bernard Rose.
The South Shore minute luncheon will take place on November 22 at the residence of Mrs. Edwin Newburger, 57 Washington avenue, South Lawrence, L. I. Rita Weiman, author and playwright, will speak.
