Superior Court Judge Harry A. Hollzer has been appointed to the District Court of Appeals of California. His appointment is for a five-month period, commencing August 1.
Judge Hollzer was born in New York City in 1880, was educated in the University of California and was admitted to the California Bar in 1902. He was appointed to the Superior Court in 1924 by the Governor of California, was elected for the balance of the term the same year and was reelected for the full term in 1926, when he was also appointed as member of the Judicial Council of California.
