Holy Scrolls to Be Brought Back from Russia to Latvia

An expedition to Soviet Russia for the purpose of bringing back from there the holy scrolls which were evacuated from various cities in Latvia during the World War has been arranged by the Jewish community of the town Glasmanko in Latvia.

A special courier, named Mendel Solowei, has been sent to Russia on this mission.
