Probate Judge Henry Horner yesterday afternoon presented a gold medal to Dr. Benjamin Goldberg. medical director of the Municipal Tuberculosis Sanitarium, on behalf of the Rosenthal Foundation. The medal is an award for Dr. Goldberg’s efforts in behalf of medical education concerning tuberculosis.
Dr. Goldberg established a school of tuberculosis at the sanitarium which teaches the principles of tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment to students in Chicago medical colleges.
