Representatives of all national Jewish organizations will gather this evening (Sunday) at the Hotel Pennsylvania to celebrate the 800th birthday anniversary of Moses Maimonides, medieval Spanish Jewish philosopher and commentator.
Speakers at the observance will be Prof. Albert Einstein, Dr. James J. Walsh, Prof. H. A. Wolfson, Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver, Prof. Louis Finkelstein, Rabbi H. Pereira Mendes, Sol M. Stroock, Henry S. Hendricks, and Rabbi Leo Jung. Herman Bernstein, executive secretary of the Maimonides Octocentennial Committee, will translate Prof. Einstein’s address from the German.
