Nearly 14,000 persons were aided by the social service department of the women’s auxiliary of the Beth Moses Hospital during the past year, it was revealed at the society’s twenty-first annual meeting at Arion Temple, Brooklyn.
The auxiliary pledged itself to do its utmost in behalf of the twentieth anniversary dinner of the hospital at the St. George Hotel on February 17.
Mrs. Harry Schlein, after reading her annual report, was re-elected president of the auxiliary. She and her fellow officers were installed by County Judge Algeron I. Nova. Other officers elected were Mmes. John Bailey, David Gingold, Fred Opolinsky and Henrietta Wehrlin, vice-presidents; Mrs. David Schlein, treasurer and Mmes. Jacob Meisel, Harold Rabinowitz and Leo Drexler, secretories.
