“The day is coming when Palestine will be the center of learning and scientific inventions,” the Rev. Dr. Will H. Houghton, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, New York, declared in an address at the Stony Brook assembly here.
Dr. Houghton, who returned from a trip to Germany several weeks ago, reported that “all Jews of learning now leaving Germany” were going to Palestine.
“Our duty as Christians is to stem the tide of anti-Semitism, and we can do this by welcoming the Jew as our friend and neighbor,” he stated.
