House Foreign Affairs Committee Appoints Body to Study U.S. Policy on Palestine

A sub-committee to specialize in U.S. policy relating to Palestine, Trans jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Turkey and Egypt was yesterday appointed by the House Foreign Affairs Committee, it was announced today.

Members on the sub-committee are: Representatives Karl E. Mundt of South Dakota, Lawrence H. Smith of Wisconsin, and Chester E. Merrow of New Hampshire, all Republicans, and Democrats Thomas S. Gordon of Illinois and William M. Colmer of Mississippi.
