A drive has been started of $35,000 to meet the needs of the Hebrew Home for Orphans and Aged. In view of the fact that the institution serves all of Hudson Jewry, the drive is County-wade, in lien with efforts also under way in Hoboken, Bayonne, North Hudson and other communities. Judge Morris E. Barison is general chairman and David Klaussner, county chairman. Mrs. Arthur Gold heads the women’s division. Joseph E. Bernstein has been serving as president of the institution since its inception nineteen years ago, and Harry Goldowsky is treasurer.
