A huge show illustrating many facets of ten years of Israeli life was opened tonight on the western outskirts of this city in a brief ceremony at which Premier David Ben Gurion spoke for three minutes and President Ben Zvi formally opened the exhibition.
The fair, called “Israel Exhibition,” is spread over 30 acres which are spectacularly lit up at night. The panorama presents industrial, agricultural and cultural high points of the Jewish State’s first decade as an independent nation.
