Hundreds of frozen fertilized eggs were destroyed when a lab technician at an Israeli hospital failed to properly seal their storage container. The mistake affected some 500 eggs belonging to about 120 couples who had undergone fertility treatment since 1993, the Israeli daily Yediot Achronot reported Monday.
