German terror against Jews in the northern part of Italy is increasing daily, the Swedish press reports today. The newspaper Nya Dag estimates that more than 600 Italian Jews have been killed by the Germans or deported “to unknown destinations” during the last two weeks. The paper adds that eight Catholic priests have been arrested in the German-held part of Italy for protesting against the persecution of Jews.
