The Biggest Jewish News of the Week contest is now in its fourth week. There is a new contest each week. Since its inception a month ago this current news competition has proved one of the most popular features sponsored by the Jewish Daily Bulletin.
Everybody is eligible to compete. The contest is open to all readers of the Bulletin. It gives all college men and women a chance to share in the cash prizes. It affords high school students an opportunity of earning money and winning medals symbolic of this Jewish News Contest.
Do you subscribe to the Bulletin? Do you get your copy at your newsstand daily? Then you have an excellent chance of winning in this contest. Are you a college man or woman? You can enter the college student division of the contest. Do you attend one of the high schools in this city? Your chances to sport a Bulletin News Medal are strong.
YOU CAN ENTER 4TH CONTEST
An unexpected deluge of letters by readers of the Bulletin and college students on the Biggest Jewish News of the Week for the third week’s contest has flooded the contest department. Additional clerical facilities have been added to the contest staff to handle the overwhelming surge of mail that has come in. The students and readers of the Bulletin who have sent in their letters will learn this Friday how they have fared.
The third contest is all over but the shouting. Start on the fourth contest today. Coupon number three of the latest competition appears in the Bulletin today. Entry blanks four, five and six will appear tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. If you haven’t yet secured the copies of the Bulletin in which the first two coupons appeared you can get them at the Bulletin offices, 221 Centre street, New York, or you can write for them. Five cents must accompany requests for each paper. It is not too late to start in the current contest. You have until midnight Monday, December 10. At that time all letters on the Biggest Jewish News of the Week must be brought or mailed to the Contest Editor at the Bulletin.
There are three classes in this contest. Into the first group fall readers of the Bulletin who do not attend a high school or college. These readers are eligible for a first prize of twenty-five dollars, a second prize of ten dollars and a third of five dollars. College men and women are awarded three similar cash prizes. High school students who win first, second or third prizes are awarded ten, five and two dollars, respectively. These winners also are presented with medals. A gold medal for first place, a silver for second and a bronze one for third place.
