The Hungarian Government has proclaimed martial law throughout the country in order to deal with the dangerous agitation carried on by antisemitic propagandists who are inciting the population by spreading stories about the Budamest-Ostende express outrage having been the work of Jews. The agitation is becoming very widespread, and the Government has decided that the establishment of martial law is the only sure way of preventing anti-Jewish demonstrations and outbreaks.
