The Central Board of Hungarian Jews has appealed to the Ministry of Education for an order dissolving 93 Jewish communities throughout the country. The Board pointed out that the communities have been depopulated beyond hope of recovery.

The Zionist Federation today announced that pending approval of a license to publish a Zionist weekly, it would issue an information bulletin to the press which it claims has been badly misinformed on the Palestine situation. A spokesman denied a recent report that Hungarian Jews who had emigrated to Palestine were “panicky” and desired to return.
