Local UNRRA representatives were instructed today by their London headquarters to clarify the attitude of the Hungarian Government and the Allied Control Commission toward the return of 123 Hungarian Jews now in Egypt, who have expressed the desire to return here.
Neither the government nor the Commission is expected to offer any opposition to the request. UNRRA will assume the cost of the return and will handle transportation.
