Hungarian Jews who migrate to Israel will hence-forth be permitted to transfer their assets to the Jewish state, in accordance with a trade pact recently negotiated between Israel and Hungary, it was learned here today.
Ten thousand Jews have been cleared by the Rumanian Government for immigration to Israel and are waiting to sail, the Jewish Agency executive was told today. It was also informed that 60 percent of the Jews of Bucharest have already registered for emigration.
