A fine of 1,000 pengoes has been imposed on the Hungaria Football Club for having permitted a Jew to conduct its recent tour to Turkey and Greece. Charges against the club were brought by the Hungarian Football Association, which said the club had violated the association’s ban on Jews taking any leading part in a member’s activities.
