In a move designed to save the nation’s motion picture industry, virtually crippled by the ouster of all Jewish producers and actors under the anti-Semitic legislation, the Government rule that 20 per cent of all feature pictures and 30 per cent of the supporting program in Hungarian cinema theatres must be produced in this country. Half the domestic feature film quota, under the new ruling, may be produce abroad provided they have been synchronized here.
