Jewish students are limited to 12 per cent and teachers to 6 per cent in Hungarian commercial high schools under a decree published today in the official gazette, implementing the recently promulgated second anti-Jewish law.
Non-Jews seeking to enter the schools must furnish the registrars with birth certificates of their parents and, if necessary, of at least two of their grandparents to prove their non Jewish origins. The quota does not apply to rabbis pursuing graduate courses.
