President Zoltan Tildy, receiving Mihaly Solomon, president of the Hungarian Zionist Federation, and M.R. Geza, Jewish Agency representative, expressed his satisfaction at the U.N. decision to create a Jewish state in Palestine. He voiced the hope that friendly political, economic and cultural relations will be established between Hungary and Jewish Palestine.
