King Hussein of Jordan has written to the Sunday Telegraph denying a report which appeared in that paper last week that he intended to turn Jordan into a “guerrilla state” and free Arab commandos to operate against Israel with the full support of the Jordan Army. He said in his letter, published today, that Jordan fully accepted the Security Council’s Nov. 22, 1967 resolution on the Middle East and will continue to cooperate with the UN’s special envoy, Ambassador Gunnar V. Jarring, whose peace mission was established by that resolution.
