Isaac Moisevich Rabinovich, a Soviet-Jewish decorative artist and the dean of Russian stage designers, has died in Moscow, it was reported here today. He was for many years the leading designer of the defunct Moscow State Jewish Theatre and had also worked on the decoration of the Moscow subway system.
Among the outstanding productions with which he was connected were several operas and plays at the Moscow Art Theatre and the Bolshoi Theatre.
