IBM is the target of a lawsuit charging that it provided data-processing technology to Nazi Germany that the firm knew would be used to “facilitate persecution and genocide.” IBM declined to comment on the lawsuit, but said the Nazis’ use of tabulating machines made by IBM’s German subsidiary has been known for years.
