Impressive memorial services were held here today in the local synagogue for Don Angel Pulido, author of the idea for the repatriation of expelled Spanish Jews who died last week at the age of eighty.
Don Pulido’s life-long work in the interest of the Sephardim was recalled and lauded.
Rabbi Marius Ranson has arranged for a Symposium for college students in Northern New Jersey to take place on Friday evening, Dec. 23, at Temple Sharey Tefilo, East Orange, N. J. This Symposium will be conducted under the auspices of the Junior League and will allow for discussion of “The Jewish Situation in American Colleges.”
