In a flip-flop, a Knesset committee rejected an amendment requiring yeshiva students to serve two weeks a year in the Civil Guard. The new vote in the special Knesset committee was held Monday after fervently Orthodox legislators claimed they came late to last week’s meeting and missed the vote on the amendment, Army Radio reported.
