In these grim days, when Israel was being squeezed as never before, the one ally on whom she could unfailingly rely was diaspora Jewry, David Mann, chairman of the South African Board of Jewish Deputies, told a Beard meeting here in reporting that South African Jewry was exerting itself to the utmost to give Israel all the help and support it could.
