Jordanian troops in the Judean hills some ten miles west of here opened fire on Israeli farmers twice today, an Israel spokesman revealed today. The Israelis replied to the fire the first time, but not the second. There were no Israeli casualties.
Syrian positions opened fire on fishermen in the northern portion of Lake Tiberias They also attacked a police launch when it attempted to rescue the harassed fishermen. The police did not return fire, and no casualties were reported.
A group of armed infiltrators crossed the Lebanese border this week-end to carry out an attack on the Israeli village of Yaara, in the Upper Galilee. Watchmen were able to repulse the attackers before any casualties were incurred on either side.
