Israel increased its agricultural products by 90 percent since 1948, it was estimated by speakers today at the national conference of the Tnuva, an agricultural and dairy marketing cooperative. The conference is being attended by 700 representatives of 360 settlements.
Delegates at the parley reported that 150 new settlements produced in 1949 more than 16 percent of the dairy products consumed in the Jewish State and nine percent of vegetable products, while in 1952 the same settlements produced 25 percent of the dairy products and 18 percent of the vegetables.
