Punishment in convictions in stabbing affrays will be doubled and even tripled in view of the increasing number of such cases in Palestine, Judge Courrie of the Palestine Court of Appeals announced today.
During the last few weeks, the number of Arabs accused of stabbing has considerably increased, the judge stated, emphasizing that this state necessitates severe punishment for such offenders as a deterrent.
