After hearing the government criticized by Parliamentary leaders for not taking firmer action to halt recent anti-Semitic disorders, Minister of Interior Ion Inculet promised on the floor of the Chamber of Deputies today to prevent repetition of the excesses.

The authorities were condemned by Mircea Djuvara, vice-president of the chamber, for not preventing the disturbances. Gregory Junian, chief of the radical Zaranist Party, interpellated Minister Inculet about recent disturbances in connection with the elections of the Bar Association, during which Jewish attorneys were ejected and beaten.

Mr. Junian delivered a plea to the youth of Rumania to resist indoctrination in the tenets of race hatred which, he said, are inspired from abroad.

“We must be united not by hatred but by love and cooperation,” he declared.
