India has been using Israeli unmanned aerial vehicles to search for victims of the Southeast Asian tsunami. The Searcher and Heron drones’ performance could hasten an estimated $200 million deal now pending between Israel and India for another 50 Heron/Eagle unmanned planes, an Israeli official told DefenseNews.com.
