Economists here today voiced fears of a new round of inflation following announcements yesterday and today of price increases in various sectors of the Israel economy.
Increases of up to 33 percent in the price of milk, newspapers, automobile insurance and radio registration fees were foreseen today to take effect at the new year. This follows the disclosure yesterday of rises in high school tuition fees and the cost of health insurance. The increases are partly due to major wage boosts during the past two years.
