Proceedings were commenced today against Latzki Bartholdi, prominent Latvian Jewish journalist and editor of the Riga Frimorgen, because he permitted publication in his newspaper of an article on the University of Latvia which, according to the public prosecutor, was “insulting.”
Bartholdi also will be prosecuted for participating in the work of the anti-German boycott committee, the prosecutor stated.
