A proposal to protest to Mayor LaGuardia compulsory purchase of German-made equipment in the science laboratories of the College of the City of New York will be placed before a combined meeting of the Menorah and Avukah Societies of the college this afternoon.
Last term objections were made to the sale of German goods and scientific equipment in the college cooperative store. The cooperative store committee answered that it was impossible to take an official stand on the German question and that the store was obliged to purchase what the students demanded.
