Interest in the Sacco-Vanzetti case increased here today with the approaching date of the scheduled execution.

Mass meetings to ask for a stay of sentence were called by the Jewish labor parties, Bund, and the Left Poale Zion. A cable message was despatched to President Coolidge asking for executive clemency.
