West German Interior Minister Paul Luecke rejected demands today that the Bonn Government take action against the notoriously anti-Semitic newspaper, Deutsche National und Soldaten-Zeitung. This position was made clear in a reply to a demand by the German Trade Union Federation. A spokesman for the Ministry said that the same stand applied to demands for the banning of the neo-Nazi National Democratic Party.
Mr. Luecke was said to be of the opinion that political opposition was preferable to suppression.
