The Russian Telegraphic Agency confirms reports of large mass meetings in the Ukraine, particularly in Odessa, Tirospol and Kharkoff, demanding the reunion of Bessarabian With Soviet Russia. A meeting in Moscow was addressed by representatives of the Bessarabian Jews who stated that life for the Jews is unbearable since Bessarabia has been annexed by Roumania. They related stories of anti-Semitic persecution, which have previously been reported by the J.T.A. The meeting passes a resolution demanding the release of Bessarabia from the Roumanian yoke, and reunion with the Russian Socialist Federated Soviet Republic. The assembled meeting then marched through the streets of Moscow to the Kremlin where a patriotic demonstration was held.
