The Israel Embassy announced today that Israel has received an increased quota from the International Wheat Conference here for the next three years. Israel’s new quota was announced as 215,000 bushels annually, an increase of 55,000 bushels over the old allocation. The agreed price per bushel will range between a minimum of $1.55 to a maximum of $2.05. Israel Ambassador Abba Eban will sign the agreement within the next few days on behalf of the Israel Government.
