Iran accused France of meddling in its internal affairs after French Prime Minister Lionel Jospin called for the freedom of 13 Jews whom Tehran has charged with spying for Israel. “It is clear for the French authorities that there can be no return by Iran to the international community if that country executes these 13 people,” Jospin told French Jewish leaders over the weekend.
